First arriving in South Africa in the year 2017 with more than 20 000 visitors, the BMW MFest is back and louder than ever before! Hosted at the Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit on October 15th and 16th, this year’s BMW MFest is sure to make every car lover’s dream an extraordinary reality.
A Brief History of the BMW M Brand
During the ’60s and ’70s, BMW has a very successful racing program. The M brand stood for ‘Motorsport’ back then, but as time progressed, they added the M branding to higher trim models that we know and love today. These models feature modified engines, transmission, suspension, aerodynamics and the notorious “vicious” look among other things. Now accessible to the public, M-Powered vehicles are always a spectacle. All that perfectly engineered power has its own distinct unmissable charm that owners, potential buyers and car lovers alike appreciate. The M is more than 4 wheels and an engine. The M is magical, and this year, BMW is celebrating 50 years of M-Power.
